What the visit usually covers
- A shampoo chosen for the coat and skin, with a conditioner for long or curly hair.
- A full blow dry, not just a towel rub.
- Brushing and combing right through to the skin.
- Nail clipping and ear cleaning.
- A light tidy of the face, feet and underside if the groomer includes it.
- A note about lumps, skin problems or tangles found along the way.

Good questions
Before you begin.
Is a bath and brush enough for a poodle cross?
Usually not for long. Curly coats grow quickly and tangle, so a full groom every few weeks plus brushing at home is more typical.
How often can a dog be bathed?
Every three to six weeks is common, but skin and coat vary. Ask your vet if your dog has itchy or sensitive skin.
Does the price include a trim?
Normally no. If you want scissor work or clipping, ask for a full groom instead.
What if my dog hates the dryer?
Tell the groomer before the visit. Many can use a gentler setting, towel drying or more breaks.
